"My name is YVONNE RAMOMI
I'm 23 years by age living in Zanzibar-Tanzania.
I want to thank you for your kindness you did to an unknown person that you even
didn't know.
My life without sight was meaningless and I didn't know what to do. I couldn't do
anything without glasses and when they broke, I thought MY LIFE WAS GOING TO END.
I looked all around Zanzibar and Dar-es-salaam but I couldn't get the size of my
eyes, and this made me crazy. I hated the meaning of living, as for me it was
useless -- but thanks to you, who gave me back my life, the real meaning of living and
happiness. I now realise that no matter the situation, there is always, somewhere,
someone who cares about me.
I couldn't imagine that I could get this help from anyone as I was helpless.
When the kind couple came from Canada and gave me these pairs and they said it came
from you, I couldn't stop my tears. I felt I was in paradise. I couldn't express
my feelings as I was so happy to have my sight back.
Dear Marina, wherever you are, no matter what you do remember that you'll be
always in my prayers, thoughts, feelings in all of me because what you did for me is
what no one could give me because their hand couldn't reach my need. Be
